I was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, ALL, on March 25, 2012 at the age of 11. On Sept. 9th, 2014 after being in remission for over 2 1/2 years, my Leukemia has returned. I have begun intensive rounds of chemotherapy in preparation for a Haploidentical Donor Hematopoietic Stem Cell plus Natural Killer Cell Transplant.
"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself. 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do".
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
I am determined to win this fight. I will stare fear in the face ... again!
